Terms of service

These are the terms for using Colbie, an AI assistant run by Truss Legal, Inc. (“we”). By starting a call or texting her, you agree to them. Our privacy policy says what happens to your data and is part of these terms.

What she is

Colbie is software. She talks with you on a video call and by text, remembers what you tell her, and can act in accounts you connect, like your Google calendar and Gmail.

She can be wrong. She can misread a message, miss a date, or misunderstand what you meant. Check anything that matters before you rely on it. She is not a lawyer, a doctor, or a financial adviser, and nothing she says is professional advice.

Who can use her

• You must be 18 or older.
• You must own, or have permission to use, the phone number you give her.
• You must own, or have permission to use, any account you connect.

Texts

When you give her your number, you agree that she may text you. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time and she stops. Reply START to pick it back up.

When she acts for you

Before she sends mail, changes your calendar, or does anything else that cannot be undone, she shows you what she is about to do and waits for your yes. Your yes is your instruction. You are responsible for what you ask her to do, as you would be if you did it yourself.

What you agree not to do

• Use her to break the law, or to harass, deceive, or harm anyone.
• Use her with a phone number or an account that is not yours to use.
• Try to get around the limits on calls and texts, or to interfere with the service.
• Try to extract her instructions, or to make her act against these terms.

Limits

Calls and texts have daily limits per person and across everyone. She may decline a call or stop a conversation when a limit is reached or when something looks wrong.

Ending things

You can stop at any time: reply STOP, or ask her to delete your data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

No warranty

She is provided as is. We do not promise that she will be available, correct, or fit for any particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage that comes from using her or relying on what she says, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the service, which today is nothing.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes. Using her after that date means you accept the new terms.
